Established in 2002 with proceeds from the performance of the musical “1776” to honor the one-year anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the United States. The fund is to provide support of the county’s emergency service agencies. Category: Field of Interest Funds

Clyde E. Geeting Memorial Trust

Established in 1974 by Mr. Geeting’s sister, Ona M. Myers. Mr. Geeting was a Jay County teacher who deeded his farm to the Foundation. The fund is for aid to the needy as well as aid to the local library and historical facilities. Category: Field of Interest Funds

Robert M. and Frances O. Gillespie Educational Trust

Established in 2005 by the will of Frances O. Gillespie. Virgil B. and Josephine H. Thomas Educational Fund

Established in 1999 by the will of Betty Kovaluk in memory of her parents. This fund is used to support the educational programs of the Foundation, including the Care and Share Philanthropy Program for third grade, the sixth grade College Visitation Program, and the Teacher Creativity Mini-Grant Program. Makayla Tipton Memorial Fund

Established in 2017 by Spencer and Jamie Tipton as a memorial to their daughter. Makayla was known for her love of people (especially children) as well as her hard work and character.
