Established in 2012 by The Portland Foundation’s Board of Trustees. The fund is to be used for sustaining levels of annual grant distributions during times of a negative stock market trend, providing emergency funding to assist with community disasters/needs without decreasing the dollars available during regular grant cycles, and providing a significant funding source as a response to a specific community project.
