Established in 2017 by William E. Hampson as a memorial to his parents. Mr. Hampson was a foreman at Portland Forge and a farmer and Mrs. Hampson was a secretary for the Jay School Corporation. The fund is to provide scholarships to Jay County High School graduates with first preference given to students who have taken the Health Occupations class and are pursuing a degree in nursing.
