Johnson Fund for the Dunkirk Community, a fund of The Dunkirk Foundation, was established in 1997 by Dr. Donald W. Johnson in honor and in memory of his parents, Frank R. and Jessie B. Johnson. The fund is to award grants, at the board’s discretion, to one or more of the following organizations or projects: The Dunkirk Beautification Committee, Dunkirk Glass Museum, West Jay Community Center, Dunkirk Improvement Committee, or the Dunkirk Railroad Depot Project.
