Gaunt Memorial Library Fund, a fund of The Dunkirk Foundation, was established in 2007 after the passing of Betty L. Gaunt in memory of her two daughters, Marilee Gaunt and Gayle Gaunt who were tragically killed in July 1966.  The fund can be used in full, at the discretion of the Foundation board, for the funding of the construction or major renovation of a library building for the Dunkirk Public Library.  No funding for the operations of the library or for the Dunkirk Glass Museum is permitted. This gift will lapse at the end of 2022 with any balance being transferred to the Gaunt Scholarship Fund.
