This scholarship fund was established in 2013 by the family of Everett and Lisabeth Taylor who were lifetime residents of rural Jay County. Although unable to afford college himself, Everett understood the value of education. Lisabeth was one of eleven children, nine of whom graduated from college. Everett was a farmer and an executive at the Jay Garment Company and Lisabeth was a teacher. The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships for graduates of Jay County High School.
