Lydia Naas Raunecker Charitable Trust

Established in 2012 by the will of Elizabeth Starbuck. Miss Starbuck was a retired banker, whose family established the Peoples Bank (now First Financial Bank) in Portland. Her estate gift of $4.9 Million is the largest gift ever received by the Foundation

Bud & June (Moser) Study Endowment Fund

Established in 2015 after the passing of June Shawver Study. June was a Portland resident who worked at Jay Garment for 27 years and retired from Tyson in 2000. Category: Unrestricted Funds This endowment will provide support to Jay County organizations under the direction of the Foundation Board of Trustees.

Fred M. Stultz Endowment Fund

Established in 2002 by a trust created upon Mr. Stultz’s death in 1985. A Jay County native, Fred was a longtime Jay County farmer who was also active in local politics. He sold a portion of his land holdings for the creation of the Jay County Conservation Club.

Joseph T. and Marlene A. (Frahm) Suhr Memorial Fund

To provide support to charitable causes in Jay County. The fund was established in 2001 by Joseph Suhr, and his four daughters, Dawn D. Suhr Greenwood, Valerie L. Suhr Aspy, Julie B. Suhr, and Jodi M. Suhr Trippany in celebration of Marlene’s life as a wife and mother. Category: Unrestricted Funds
