Established in 2017 by Cynthia Mendenhall and Marianne Horn as a memorial to their father, a longtime farmer, and their mother, a longtime educator. The fund is to provide scholarships to Jay County residents who are in their junior year or higher in college, with first preference given to students pursuing a degree in education, agriculture, or business.
