2016 Summer Grant Recipients

Out of the requests from 12 different projects totaling $291,786.07, the Board of Trustees of The Portland Foundation has approved grants totaling $93,349.00 for 10 Jay County projects for the second half of 2016. 

 

American Legion Post 211 - $5,000 to fund the purchase of an air conditioning unit

 

Arts Place - $10,000 to fund the summer 2017 Arts in the Parks program

 

Community and Family Services - $1,500 to fund the HeartLite energy assistance program

Community and Family Services - $665 to fund webinar training for two Family Development Specialists

  

Jay Community Center - $20,000 to fund senior citizen programming

 

Jay County Conservation Club - $7,323 to fund the purchase of tables and chairs

 

Jay County Fair Association - $35,000 to install new LED lighting at the Jay County fairgrounds

 

Jay County Historical Society - $3,500 to fund the Jay County Heritage Festival

 

John Jay Center for Learning - $4,416 to fund the C3 College Career Connection program

 

John Jay Center for Learning - $5,945 to fund the purchase of a telephone/intercom system
